Reinhardt Du Plessis

After earning his degree in Travel and Tourism Management, Reinhardt transitioned into the hospitality industry, where he developed a passion for the wilderness. He furthered his expertise by obtaining his FGASA field guide and Lead Trails qualifications. Reinhardt’s career as a guide spanned several lodges in the Greater Kruger area before he decided to establish his own private guided safaris. Now, he shares his love for the bush and wildlife photography, offering guests an unforgettable African safari experience.

Mara du Plessis was born into the heart of the African bush, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild. From her earliest days, Mara has been a living testament to the fact that safari adventures can be both safe and magical for young children. With her parents, Maria and Reinhardt, by her side, Mara has grown up exploring the vast landscapes, spotting wildlife, and enjoying the wonders of nature.

Safari Reinhardt is located in Hoedspruit, South Africa and focuses on safari in Hoedspruit, the Greater Kruger and the Kruger Park. Other regional highlights like the Blyde Canyon Nature Reserve and the Panorama Route are also often visited.
